I’m a little late getting acquainted with very popular Canadian author, Stuart McLean.  I Vinyl cafestumbled upon  “Home from the Vinyl Cafe ” and enjoyed  it.  A wholesome collection of stories about a good guy getting into situations that revolve around his life at the record shop, his wife and two kids.

Transfer a picture to a block woodYou’ll need….
Block of wood
picture (printed from computer on plain printer paper will do)
Gel Medium
Mod Podgepic 1) Cover wood with gel medium
pic 2) place paper picture side down
pic 3) firmly smooth out all bubbles
pic 4) let dry overnight
pic 5) wet surface
pic 6) gently rub wetted paper off
pic 7) clean all paper residue off
pic 8) cover with mod podge
pic 9) let dry
pic 10) all finished
